Pastoral Counseling
Life can be tough. Over the past years we have witnessed life events that have shaken us to our cores. Through the pandemic, COVID, political unrest, community violence, injustice and situations that just don’t seem fair, many of us have questioned where God might be through these turbulent times. Sometimes we need a spiritual perspective to navigate through some of those challenges. Everything is spiritual and has a spiritual connotation. Pastoral counseling sessions, also called spiritual counseling sessions are designed to help you move forward in purpose and power.
These sessions as stand alone or combined with our liturgical dance therapy sessions will help you regain your footing so that you are grounded in who God created you to be. If your hope needs to be restored; if your spirit needs to be renewed and your soul needs to be revived, these sessions are for you.

Minimum of three sessions required.
Each one hour session is $65/hour
Combo sessions $125
Grief Support
Grief is a very “normal” response to a painful situation. We grieve when someone dies, but we also
grieve through many other types of loss. Grief is the outward expression of the pain we feel. In western
culture we tend to rush past our grief instead of normalizing how we feel. This leads to bottling up our
emotions which can be toxic and explosive. Dance The Word Ministries can help you process through
your grief whether through death, situational loss or changes that come as we move through seasons of
life. Our grief support sessions help you reweave the fabric of your life after loss. These sessions can be
stand alone or combined with our mourning to dancing sessions to literally help you move through your
grief. If your spirit needs to reflect on the memories, if the space in your soul needs to be held close and
if you need to speak life to your dry bones, these sessions can help.
